If you were following my instagram or twitter or facebook you would have known that I was in Singapore last weekend to attend the Tokyo Auto Salon Singapore. Prior to going over my friend was telling the to check out handy.
handy is a is basically mobile phone rental for SGD$15.00 per day. Obviously we don't really want the phone, we want the access to the unlimited 3G data and free local / international calls (5 mins) facility. The service is also available in Hong Kong.
Right. So finally taking the time to post about my trip which happend 5 months ago. And the usual excuse of being busy and lazy to post or look at the photos. Mostly I was not really happy with the photos I took on this trip. Therefore I must return to take awesome photos next time. :)
So I had a really short trip to Toyko, Japan in early July 2012. With my uncles and aunts and cousins. As my parents already went in April, without me, therefore I went without them XD.
Adjusted the color slightly. Love her expressionOff shoe flash~ guess how manyThis was such an impromptu shot. She was checking out the skies and I took the shot. Lovely. The rest of the pics can be found in the gallery.
Stephen and Agnes held their wedding ceremony on 20th March 2010. I was busy being the “Heng tai / driver” therefore didn’t take much photos.
Image capture by FoosiGroup photo xD Image from FoosiAlex was so busy going around to take the rose petals. But at the end the guy who took the photo using Foosi’s camera did not burst the shutter, so he only got 1 shot. Many of us still had the petals in our hands!
xD xD XD xD xD
What I did was compile pictures from Foosi and added some video clips which I took with my Sony Cybershot DSC-T90
FUN! Must watch till end, may take a while to download/stream!
Still trying with the rose petals xD

Its now 11th of October. Nearly middle of the month already. And I have not updated much in the journal. I did shoot a few portraits and two events. I have not published or post processed the portraits because the rest of the guys are not ready. And we kind of agreed to publish everything together.
Besides that I’m now in Miri. and sitting at Halo Cafe waiting for time to go back to Kuching. I guess everyone is busy, and it was my own fault to buy the tickets before informing my friends of my plans. So they already made their plans and I’m here alone. AHAHA!
Which is good because I can catch up in some facebook gaming. LOL. ever hear of Mafia Wars? Been wanting to play that for a while now. But I guess soon I will have more time to play it. xD
Its a bright and sunny day over here in Miri. I’m enjoying my pot of lavender tea. Playing facebook games and chatting with friends. Its warm and I’m listening to great music. This is very very relaxing and enjoyable. Only thing that kind of annoys me is that I have forgotten to bring my mouse along. So I been moving the cursor about with my fingers for the past 3 hours. Its becoming a bit tiring to say the least. Well 1 more hour to go before I go to the airport and wait another hour.. take a 1 hour plus flight back to Kuching. All in all another 4 hours to kill. Lucky for me I got my pink PSP with me. AHAHA!
wow, its coming to the end of the month and I have only made one posting! How amazing it that! well actually its very normal for me. I have this problem of not updating my stuff when I’m busy with work or something. So lets recap since my last posting here, what have I done.
Besides work, I have shot my friend’s latest purchase. The Yamaha R1.
It was difficult and exciting as I never had the chance to take photograpths of motorbikes before. They have more angles than cars. So it was challenging to find ways to take photos of it.
I think I did okay. Not too bad, considering it was my first time.
As you can see, I tried to do a strobist thingy. hehe~ quite decent I think. Nikon CLS. More pics can be found on my facebook account.
Oh, this month our photography friend, Peter tied the knot with Staly. Congrats to them.
This was the craziness that happens when photographers gather without their equipment. :))
So after the dinner, we headed over to Kado, the usual hang out place for aspiring photographers. Whats the reason? I have no idea.
The madness continues.
So far its been an “action” packed three weeks. I just came back from a trip from Cameron Highlands. I went with Alex. I had a photo assignment there, and asked if he wanted to join since he was free. We went on the 12th July and returned on 15th July. Met my friends Jian Nin, Ian, Nigel, Kenneth, Thomas, Ivan, Siew Pao, and other new friends(Jack, Mickey). Good stuff. Will post photos of the trip once its done. I came back with 1,400 pics. ^_^” I was working on it for two nights. Completed now going to send it to Ian. What a rush, now I have to start packing as I’m heading to Sabah tomorrow at 9am. Gosh. Be back in Kuching on 21st July, then to Bintulu and Miri on 23rd and 24th. And probably back to KL on 1st August to attend Ian and Jian Nin’s wedding.
Just thinking about it makes me feel tired. Okay so that was the update. I better knock off from here and start to complete packing. Hopefully bring everything along.
