Continue…

So after the street shooting two days later I left for KL. Business trip. Manage to meet up with Ian and some of the GRA fellows. Manage to catch up and have few sessions of game time LoL. Its been a while since I went to any cyber cafe to have a crazy game time.

The next day met up with Ian again, actually wanted to go to KLCC to see some convention or something. But when we reached there it was over ! It ended early. HAHAHA!

So we ended up eating something at the KLCC food court. And then went down to grab some photos. I did a looong panorama.

Panoramic Stitch

After that we headed off to Rawang to send a friend to dinner.. HAHAHA!

Managed to take a few shots from the car. Taken with the Nikon D300 and Nikkor 17-55mm AF-S f/2.8G DX.

Beautiful colors of natureHeaps of birds flying about. Scary wor.I wonder what sort of birds are there. Aparantly during dusk there are a lot of insects that fly about. So thats why the birds were swarming about. The last time I saw something remotely similar was in Mulu caves, when the bats came out of the bat cave to look for food.

Stopped at traffic light.plane n the moonIan’s ride. Family man.Would have liked to see more of the factory. After that we went to pick up Ian’s family and his extended family. And headed down to behind Jalan Alor for some famous beef noodles.

Below pics were taken with my Sony Cybershot DSC-T90

Delicious soupBeef noodles? heheOf course after dinner. We went to play some computer games haha!

New Gear

It was something unexpected. Yesterday I came home after going out to have breakfast, and saw Yeo's facebook status saying something about the Sony Cybershot DSC-T90. I was looking to buy a compact a few months ago, but decided against it during that time as it there was no good deal around.

When there was a pre-launching sale at the Sony Center, where by the purchase of the newly launched Sony Cybershot DSC-T90 and a free Sony Ericsson w595 was given. I could not pass up on the opportunity. The catch was that it was only for the first ten buyers. The eleventh till the fifteen would get a J series phone.

I went to the Sony Center at Boulevard to queue, when I arrived at 12:45pm Yeo was the first in line(he was there since 10am), and I was the ninth in line. So I had to sit and wait for about two hours, not being able to leave the seat. Because if anyone who leaves the seat to go pee, eat or what ever, the place would be lose and others would gain it! What a gimmick. Well thankfully Kuching people were not so kiasu. So in the end, only about twelve people were in queue, some were just sitting down to watch the Blue-ray movie.

This was taken at home with my DSLR.

I was quite excited about the DSC-T90 because of the Super Macro mode and the 720p movie mode. Heh~ for all the wrong reasons I guess. In any case I think I will have a lot of fun with this purchase. The camera did not come with memory card. It uses the Memory Stick Pro Duo. Lucky for me, I have 2 Memory Stick Pro Duo for my  PSP. Both 4GB but one is not original one. Was using the original one on my  PSP, the non-original one is usable but transfering stuff from PC to PSP takes 30 mins while the same files takes only 5 mins on the original Memory Stick Pro Duo.

Here are some images taken last night.

As you can see from the pictures, the colors are quite natural. Unlike the previous Sony CyberShot that I had which had really strong reds and greens. This one overall seems to be less saturated. I had to slightly increase the saturation in one of the pics. Everything was shot in full auto mode. I want to test how well it copes. It even detects what sort of mode it should be in best to shoot in. From twilight mode to protrait in twilight to macro mode and many more. With face detection and smile detection. It even told me that a BLINK was detected(!!!) when it captured the smile and my mom blinked. ~_~ Do I need to have a camera tell me that the person in the image blinked?

Sony Ericsson w595

Specs can be found at Sony Ericsson website. Well, I'm not so impressed with this Walkman phone as compared to the w800i which I bought many many years ago. In terms of packing, presentation and build. I would not say much about the phone as I gave it to my Dad. LoL

Well time to go get ready to go to the airport. I'm leaving Kuching for about a week. Hopefully will have time to update during the week!

And happy birthday to me! HAHA!
