good evening

Well was suppose to post this few pics yesterday evening but could not make the time and the internet connection was acting up as usual.

What I wanted to share was a few photos I took from yesterday at the farm.

Well this was not actually the farm, its taken on the ferry at Jalan Muara Tuang. Purposely shot it in a silhouette so we can appreciate the magnificent light rays coming thru the clouds.

This picture was taken at the farm. This cute fellow is having fun playing with water in his red boots. ;)

Thanks for viewing my randomness.

Long Sunday

Today was in a delima either to go shoot the drag race under the hot sun or shoot a pretty lady under the hot sun. Obviously the latter was more compelling. :P

Blue grenade =)The day started out at around 8am when I woke up before my alarm went off. Then it was off to meet Willy (the organiser) to have breakfast. I was wondering why are we shooting at the harshesh hour of the day. We were suppose to start shooting at around 11pm. I have no idea why I was at the coffeeshop so early for! Anyways the photoshooting FINALLY got going at around 2pm (5 hours of doing pretty much nothing), below are some of my randomness when not paying attention to the pretty girl.

grassTransformerrusted metal gratepineWe finally concluded our shoot at around 530pm. Im hungry, and tired. Now I got to rest for the movie Transformers 3 tonite! Woot!

Early Sunday

Woke up at 6.03am this morning when I received a text message from my friend, "Dood I'm outside". So I got out of the bed and went to the toilet. Splashed water on my faced and took my camera and left the house. When I got outside, I saw the sun rising, the clouds were gorgeous. With multiple colors.

Awesome colors in the morning

After we reached our destination I went out and try to spot the sunrise. I could not find it. =)

empty roadAfter few hours of mucking about went back home at about 8am. Tried to sleep. After 30 mins was awakened by the mom. -_- oh well. Seems like another long day.

Round up

Gee, its been a while since I posted anything on the journal. Since my last posting I have been to Melaka and to Penang. It was consecutive weeks so it kinda put me out of place. I still have heaps of photos to review and post. Of course there are many things to say about my trips as well. Hopefully I can recall the details and thought I had during the time. Work has been smooth sailing but there seems to be a few bumps in the horizon! Oh well, time to brace for impact!

I have also uploaded many galleries of my “adventures” in the gallery section. Do drop by and have a look.

So have a look aroud, let me gather my thoughts and I have some interesting stuff to say. And for those who know me, they also know I spent a bundle of money in Penang for my new toys. Woot!

Keep looking at this space~

the spring is open...

Well.. sort off, opened by the Chief Minister of Sarawak, Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Abdul Taib bin Mahmud. Its good to see that such malls have opened up in Kuching. Where people are willing to invest and put up the effort to move the economy. Its HUGE compared to local standards. Very spacious. I heard that the design was created based on NZ lifestyle? thats why the building is low and wide instead of skinny and tall.

So just within a period of two months, two new shopping destinations opened up to the public, The Spring and The Boulevard. Both with very different and distinctive philosophies and style. To me The Boulevard is very Asian, it has everything under the sun and cram in as much as possible. The Spring on the other hand is a bit more classier, with wide open spaces, the tenants are screened with a megascope(The Boulevard screen their clients too, but maybe with a magnifying glass only).

Above is the video clip of the drummers present at the opening. Teenagers all of them. If you care to look at nearly the end of the video, the gal in pink broke her DRUM STICK in half! thats how hard she was playing them!!!

The second video is of the Chinese orchestra playing at the center of the building.

Yay! another new place to hang out in town. I cant wait for the cinemas to open! finally!
