Analog Shooting again
To test the camera I had to quickly finish up 36 exposures of Fujifilm Superia 200. I should have bought the 12 exposure film. Since I'm just testing it out.
The store I went to also did the scanning of negative for RM 15.00 per roll. Some how I believe that the photos would look even better printed, rather than digitized. As the scan quality is maybe 2-4 megapixel equivalent? But what do I know.
And when your done shooting things around your house, you go out further a bit shooting interesting things, like my car.
And after we have shot inanimate objects, we start to look for people to shoot.
Now that we have finished shooting friends we continue to do a mini photo walk to the usual hot spots in Kuching.
Overall it was fun and at the same time annoying as my fingers kept trying to press the review button which was not there. I absolutely love the smooth feeling of the lever and shutter. Having the Nikon FE2 was a good choice as the auto exposure was pretty accurate. All the photos were on auto and unedited except for the group photo, and the ones shot at night with flash were on manual exposure. I think it turned out pretty decent. Just that I'm not sure what the standards for film scanning is, I feel that the shop I go to is not giving me high resolution scans, maybe I'm expecting too much.
WillI be shooting film again? Well that remains to be seen. Maybe 12 exposures from now on. Maybe B&W film.
