Anything and everything clicks...

Collection of random rants and photos from my life experiences shared to the world.

My latest toy

I have been wanting to get one of these for a while now. I was contemplating either the FM series or the FE series. And the more I researched the more I like the FE series. While the FE2 itself looks very retro, it is quite capable little SLR.

Finally arrives

Finally arrives

There are a lot of resources online that explains the main differences of the SLR's from the era 70's to 80's. So I'll leave that to your curiosity and creativity. But the reason I choose the FE2 is because of 1/4000 and Aperture mode.  I dont THINK I want to go full manual.

Below was my UNBOXING photos. I know, I know that is like so last years trend right?

Of course the particular body which I bought from eBay was not the best and most mint in condition. It was OKEY. Any more mint, please add more $$$. I got mine for 100$US, which was about 350RM ? give or take a few RM10s

Since I had no film with me, I just tested out my existing lenses.

Not bad.

And since I had a Nikon SB-24 Speedlite lying around. I had to pop it on. For retro's sake :)

Yummehhhhh!

I have loaded a roll of film (36 exposures), which I need to go thru quickly so I can see if there are any problems with the camera. This seller offered a 14-day money back. So I better make sure everything is fine and dandy.

So far I have taken four pictures of my car, one of my mom, one of a random flower in the garden... Hmm.. Anyone want to have their portrait taken in film by me? Maybe?

Well I do not foresee me shooting much of it anyways. I have not even shot any film on my SX-70. Sigh. Soon I hope.

Cheers
