Actually I was not interested to go to the Carnival. But during the sunday afternoon I was having tea with Alvin and Steven. Then out of bordom we went to have vegetarian dinner. Then they all were going and Micheal came a long as was also going. I found out that Micheal had some gals there as well. And since I had my camera gear with me. I decided to tag along, eventho I was not feeling well yet.
It was my first time to the Centre, didn't realise it was so big and spacious inside. Anyways we only attended the evening portion of the event. Not the blogger work shop from 1 to 3pm. I was quite surprised at the amount of people who turned up.
The night's performance were local bands(DyerBreed, DreamMachine, Disable, Slap) and fashion show and hair show. On the side of the hall were booths from telecommunications, to bridal galleries. There were special apearences from Amber Chia, Rawang Boy, SnowXWhite, cast members from the upcoming movie Sayang you can dance.
Now for some pictures~

SnowXWhite, I know this pic is not so flattering, but she is really sweet & bubbly in person.

This uncle won lucky draw of a diamond ring from Minex Jewellery from Benjamin.
Over all I think it was a successful event. There were not much delays in between shows. And the crowd was entertained, especially the last bit where there were lucky draws. RawangBoy really got the crowd going when the ticket holders of the lucky draw already left. Prizes given away range from beaty products to hand phones to diamonds! The lighting was good, if only there was a 2nd spot light. The live video projection was acceptable. Sound system excellent. Only qualm for me is there was not much room for people like me who wants to take photographs without blocking the audience =\. At the beginning, there was a guy with a tripod smack in the middle of the walkway towards the stage, so me and my friends where "clogged" at tat area trying to get a shot of the stage. ~_~"
I had a good time at the event, it has been a while since I covered such an event. And the first time I tried using my new, old lens which I purchased recently.
