So after our brief stop at the old train station at Butterworth, we headed back to the island for some Penang Laksa.
Now after a nice spicy bowl of laksa we headed off to another location in town. To meet up with more people for a group photo session. Walking about and shooting and stuff. It was fun for me. As I really love street photography. Even more so when with a bunch of awesome people.
There was suppose to be a theme of some sort, I didn't really pay attention to the details, I like to be surprised. :P
While waiting for a few of them to get changed I was suddenly asked to shoot some portraitures of people I have just met. Uh... Ok... In a place I have never been. Well, situations like this really push the mind to go at hyper speed. And practice with the gear really helps in making the shots.
So I was going for a toned look, with less contrast. I think I like it.
That is what happen when one does not immediately blog about one's experience after it happend. Names are the most important and thats what I find the hardest to remember, always. =(
Actually all this walking it to one destination. A wall painting by Ernest Zacharevic at Armenian Street. I didn't know about it till I reach there.
Here are some images from the location. Post added the vignette effects.
Okay enough vignette effects. Its kinda getting annoying. >_<
Ah.. Penang, what a beautiful place. Fantastic cityscape, fantastic food, and most importantly fantastic people. I can't wait to go back there soon!
