Last weekend there was a car show at Hills Shopping mall in Kuching. It was a two day event, but I only managed to catch it on the second day, Sunday. There were a lot of local (not really local, but JDM) cars. What I was more interested this time was the exotic ones. But because there were so crowded, It was really hard to shoot them properly, and it didn't help that it was raining.
For those who do not know, dropbox is an online storage service which has been around for a good few years. Back in the day it was cutting edge with a lot of free space 2GB for every new sign up and 500MB for both referral and referred (totalling to 18GB limit per account). By todays standard might not be a lot, few years ago it was worth harassing your friends to sign up under your referral.
So fast a year has passed. It seemed like just yesterday that I have experienced the heat of shooting the Fire Walk at Sen Wang Kong Temple. Unfortunately for those who want to experience the fire walk, you have to wait another 11 years. :)
During one of my sharing at a local photography forum, a member remarked that I should choose the best ten photos to showcase my work to express the event. Now this gave my thought, I shot well over 500 photos (thank goodness for digital age). How can I trim it down to just ten? Anyways, I'll give it a go!
Nikon Malaysia recently started something new to engage their customers. Maybe to have closer feedback and I guess to have more interactions amongst its users. This was the first time it was held in Kuching. My friends in Miri already attended one session, few weeks ago.
Our session was held at Merdeka Palace Hotel on 11th May 2013 at a staggeringly early 830am. Davy called me at 830am wanting to confirm the venue. I was still in bed!
To cut the story short I arrived ten minutes after nine. To find room of about 25-30 photographers, enthusiast and professionals.
A friend of mine recently asked me to try his new burgers at his burger stall, so far I had not been able to make it till last night.
NOTE: This stall serves PORK burger!
